| Piper felt herself sinking faster than ever, like Ninian, she was about neck deep in snow. I'll find a way out of this... She thought. Focusing as much as possible on the thoughts of her son and family. Trying to override the looming thoughts of hopelessness and depression.

| Piper watched Ninian disappear, then felt her own vision blur. She couldn't move her arms at all, which proved her powers useless at this moment in time. Then her vision too, stopped its distilling desent to darkness and just let the shadows swallow her...
